Love, Wrinkle-free Salute(!),
Been a while. The editing of our film is on at good pace. Been spending a lot of time with Shreyas, my friend and editor of Love, Wrinkle-free.Very talented and fun guy. Both of us are enjoying the challenges that the process is throwing at us. But from the looks of it, this is turning out to be a very interesting film. Really looking forward to the rest of the process. At the same time, i am aware that there is still lots to do, hence might not be active on the blog till the first cut is ready. Or for all you know, I might be more active, depending on the mood:)
More soon...and yeah my pal and the Producer of Love, Wrinkle-free(he also makes a special appearance) is getting married on the 2nd of Jan. So congrats Giju John and Kristen officially!!!:) Am ready to party:)

22 day Goa schedule gets over
Love, wrinkle-free greetings,
Been busy with the shoot, hence the absence from the blog for a month. The Goa shooting schedule of Love, wrinkle-free got over on the 24th of Oct - as planned we finished the shoot in 22 days straight. Kudos to the entire team for sticking to the tight schedule despite the rain arriving uninvited!
Was a treat to work with such professional actors, and crew members. Will always treasure this one month of my life. Now look forward to the edit which starts soon after the one day shoot in Mumbai on the 8th of November.
Will keep you guys posted. Also will post some interesting stories from the shoot soon, as soon I get some free time:)

The team...
Love, Wrinkle-free hey!
The pre-production of the film is on in full swing. Music recording of most of the songs is over, and am very pleased with the outcome. Here are a few of my team-members who are going to make the Love, Wrinkle-free dream come true.
Binendra Menon - DOP, Pradipto Ray - Art Director, Ravi Dev Singh - Sound Designer, the team of Assistant Directors including Sanjog, Priyesh and Joseena. Also Paras and Arvind - Our Production team. Also all the others who have been working overtime to make this independent film come alive. May the force be with all of us:)

Shooting dates fixed.

I am glad to announce that the shooting dates for our film are fixed. We will be shooting start-to-finish in a 22 days schedule from the 3rd of October-2010 in Goa. Extremely tight schedule, but what's life without a few exciting challenges:) Will be soon announcing the Website for our film. Also a few more interesting announcements about our film. Watch this space for more.

Shibani Kashyap to compose & sing in "Love, wrinkle-free"
Love, wrinkle-free greetings,
I am delighted to announce that Shibani Kashyap, the reigning queen of Indian Pop, will be composing and lending her fab voice for a song in our film 'Love,Wrinkle-free'. As you might be aware of, Shibani has regaled audiences with smash hits like "Sajna Aa Bhi Ja from Waisa bhi hota hai Part 2, Zinda hoo main from Zinda, Ho Gayi hai Mohabbat, and many more such hits. She recently released her new album "My Free Spirit" which has been doing exceptionally well all over. I would like to thank my friend, singer-dancer-performer Giju John for connecting Shibani to this project.

I am extremely thrilled to announce that Shernaz Patel(of Black, Little Zizou), and Ashwin Mushran(of Fashion, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Quick Gun Murugan) have agreed to be part of the "Love, wrinkle-free" experience. Talks are also underway with the talented stand-up comic/actor/singer Ash Chandler(Mixed Doubles, Shikar) for an important role. Not only do these fabulous performers bring with them years of film & theatre experience, but they also come in with a refreshing attitude that suits the sensibilities of an independent feature production. With them on board, the film is surely going to attract the curiosity of the discerning audience in India and abroad who appreciate sensible dramatic comedies.

Marie Borsch to direct the "Making of Love, wrinkle-free"
Love. wrinkle-free greetings again,
Marie Borsch of the international music band "Arambol Experience" will be directing the "Making of Love, wrinkle-free". We chose her for this since I have worked with her in my short film "Bomber Briefs", and have seen her talent, sincerity and passion towards her work. Confident that she will create something that can add value to our DVD Bonus features.
She brings along with her the experience of having directed 2 documentaries for her international music band "Arambol Experience"(Chris, Marie, Fabrizio etc). Also, Marie is a versatile singer and actor. I welcome her on board, and am delighted to have such pure artists who are passionate about "love, wrinkle-free"

The dates for shooting have been fixed. We will be shooting in Arambol and Calangute from the 3rd of October, 2010. The film will be shot start-to-finish in 22 days.
Would like to thank Marie, Marianne and Francesco for being so kind enough to support this independent film. They went out of the way to help my team and the result is that we have sourced quite a few fabulous locations including: an authentic 150 year old Portuguese house, the nightclub by the beach in Arambol, the beach huts in Arambol, etc, and these are surely going to add to the production value of our film.

Location Recce complete.

With the successful completion of our location recce last week, we are now inching closer to our shooting dates. We intend to start the rehearsals/readings at the earliest. Also, we intend to update this space with more production details on a regular basis. So visit this space often, and please feel free to add your comments on issues related to love, wrinkles, beauty, baldness etc :)

Casting Call for luv,wrinkle-free
Hay,
We are casting for our independent feature film "luv,wrinkle-free" starting 31st January 2010. The film is a slice of life comedy set in Goa. All actors/actresses need to have prior experience in theatre/tv/feature films, though exceptionally talented freshers are welcome too. Talent, and not looks alone, being the only criteria.
We are auditioning for the following characters(We have finalized on the other characters mentioned. More info on them soon)
We are also looking for Actors-Actresses across all age groups to play other important character roles. Film/art students-enthusiasts who are interested in working in the film crew can contact us too. Actors can mail us their resumes and head-shots at sandeepthemohan@gmail.com immediately. This independent film is slated to go on the floors by the end of August 2010.
